Mold Remediation Protocols
Online Course | Forms / Documents
The 16-hour, Mold Remediation Protocols course will teach you the recommended work practices that help ensure a successful project for both large and small mold remediation jobs. In the absence of state or federal guidelines, it is up to the mold professional to decide which protocols to follow. Most remediation companies will follow procedures from one of two respected organizations:
- The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) Guidelines on Assessment and Remediation of Fungi in Indoor Environments
- The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) S520 Standard and Reference Guide for Mold Remediation.
The course is interactive and can be taken online. All the quizzes and tests are done online. At the end of each lesson, there is an online quiz that will grade your answers, show you the results on the screen, and submit your scores over the internet. You can complete the quizzes anytime you want and there is no set time you must login to take quizzes or exams.
